A bit about the role & team | the opportunity

As CaseWare continues to expand, we are building out a new business function that puts employees first. The Technical Writer Co-Op will be a part of the IDEA Engineering Team that is responsible for creating an environment where everyone does their best work.

Highlight of your responsibilities

As a member of the Technical Writing team, you will perform a variety of tasks in different areas, including but not limited to:

  • Developing, writing, and updating user guides, training content and online help for auditing and accounting software. The documentation set addresses different audiences, from novice to expert, and must be flexible for use in different markets and implementations
  • Editing content created by subject matter experts and other authors
  • Preparing files for translation and working with the translation coordinator to ensure on-going changes are tracked for translation
  • Adhering to format, content, and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality
