Join us in Chicago to celebrate and learn from IDEA Data Analysis Software

TORONTO, Ont. (January 27, 2014) – This year, the 4th Annual North American IDEA User Conference (NAIUC) will be held at the Drake Hotel in Chicago on May 21-22, 2014. Registration is now open for an event that promises to inform and engage its attendees on the multiple uses of CaseWare IDEA® Data Analysis. Early bird pricing for the two-day conference is available through March 21, 2014 with optional pre-and post-conference hands-on workshops available on May 20 and 23. Each session will provide attendees with slides, data files, walk-throughs demonstrated live in IDEA and real life examples from IDEA users.

“The NAIUC allows IDEA users to gain a fresh perspective on technology they know and use daily,” said Bob Cuthbertson, COO of CaseWare IDEA Inc., “it’s a chance to see industry professionals demonstrate the most the solution has to offer.”

The conference features 27 concurrent sessions for users ranging from beginner to advanced, where all topics of interest will be covered at varying degrees. The conference will highlight how data analysis, audit collaboration and continuous monitoring technologies can be applied in areas such as forensic auditing, fraud detection, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance as well as travel and expense audits.

This year, the conference’s key note speaker will be Sid Mohasseb of KPMG LLP. Mohasseb is a member of KPMG’s Data Analytics Leadership team and helps lead their Mass Opinion Business Intelligence (MOBI) team. His perspective on the industry is extremely valuable and applicable to both CPA firms and internal auditors. An added bonus to attendees is that they can earn up to 16 CPE credits in the main 2-day conference. Additionally, 6 credits can be earned at the pre-conference and 3 credits for the half-day post-conference event totaling at a possible 25 credits for the entire conference program.
